When HavExpo kicks off in Bergen on May 5–7, 2026, there will be more exhibitors, a larger professional program, and increased international participation than in previous years.
Four years after its debut in 2022 – and after the pandemic put a stop to plans in 2020 – the aquaculture fair has established itself as one of the industry's largest meeting places.
The organizers report that the exhibition space for the 2026 edition is almost fully booked, and that interest is particularly high from countries with significant salmon production, such as Chile, Scotland, Iceland, and Canada. For visitors, this means the opportunity to see a wide range of new technology and solutions in aquaculture, both at sea and on land.
In addition, the conference program will be expanded. According to the organizer, this year's program will include both marketing and finance sessions in collaboration with Nordea, as well as professional presentations from the Institute of Marine Research on biology, fish welfare, and sustainability.

Participation from the government
The government will be represented by Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Marianne Sivertsen Næss, who will open the fair on Tuesday, May 5.
According to the organizers, Bergen's large hotel capacity is a practical advantage for visitors. HavExpo has pre-booked rooms at fixed prices to make it easier for both exhibitors and visitors to plan their visit.
HavExpo 2026 will be held at Sotra Arena and the surrounding exhibition area.
