Behind the initiative are GCE Ocean Technology, Energy Transition Norway and Energy Valley, who want to strengthen collaboration, innovation and competitiveness in the Norwegian energy industry.

– ECN brings together expertise, partners and projects from all over the country and opens doors that the individual clusters could not reach alone, says Chairman Tor Arnesen.

The new platform will make it easier for companies to find partners, develop innovation and research projects, access financing and explore new markets. At the same time, members will have access to expertise in areas such as business scaling, operator-driven innovation and artificial intelligence.

Energy Cluster Norway will be officially launched during ONS 2026 in Stavanger on August 24 , where member companies from the three clusters will present technology, projects and new collaboration opportunities.

The goal is to contribute to increased value creation and faster innovation across technologies, regions and energy sectors in Norway.
