Priya Lakhani is one of this year’s headliners at the One Ocean Conference in Bergen on Tuesday, April 21, during Ocean Week.
The program for the One Ocean Conference is now set, and DNB is pleased to welcome internationally renowned technology entrepreneur and investor Priya Lakhani to Bergen during One Ocean Week and the One Ocean Conference on April 21 at Grieghallen.
Lakhani is the founder and CEO of CENTURY Tech and is considered one of Europe’s most influential voices in artificial intelligence, technology, and global competitiveness. She has received an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for her work in technology and education and has been named a World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer. At the One Ocean Conference, Lakhani will highlight how artificial intelligence and digital solutions are transforming markets, business models, and skill requirements, and why Norway must seize the opportunities presented by technology-driven growth.
Norway's Competitiveness

At the One Ocean Conference, participants will receive a clear overview of how global changes—such as geopolitics, market volatility, and technological shifts—are affecting the operating environment for Norway’s maritime industries. We will specifically examine what this means for Norway as a maritime nation and what priorities must be set to ensure continued competitiveness.
The conference presents concrete examples from the industry:
– how new marine technologies are being adopted
– how digital tools and artificial intelligence streamline operations and reduce emissions
– how companies adapt their expertise, organizational structures, and supply chains in practice
We highlight what is actually happening in the industry today—and what steps are needed going forward to ensure a successful transition and growth.
“The One Ocean Conference is a meeting place for everyone working in and around the maritime industries—from established industrial companies to new technology startups. When we bring together stakeholders from across the sector, share experiences, and look to the future together, we lay the groundwork for better decisions and greater competitiveness. This is what we want to contribute to,” says Thomas Nordahl of DNB.
