Join us for an interactive photo activity, survey, and contest to tell us what kind of ocean you want! Take home a photo and win contest prizes, including CEWE gift certificates and photo books!
How do Norwegians—adults, young people, and children—value the ocean? We invite you to visit us and sort photos of the ocean according to your values. You can keep your favorite photo! We also have a short survey that you can fill out with information about yourself and your relationship with the ocean. This can help shape ocean policy by highlighting what matters to Norwegians. Enter our contest: “What kind of ocean do you want?” The top 3 adult entrants will receive vouchers for CEWE photo products: 1) 1,500 kr, 2) 750 kr, and 3) 500 kr, while youth (16–19) and children (under 16) will receive Norli gift certificates: 1) 750 kr, 2) 375 kr, and 3) 250 kr. The top 5–10 entries will be enlarged, framed, and exhibited. The top 20 entries will be compiled into a book, and featured entrants will receive a copy. The deadline is May 31, 2026. Winners will be announced on World Ocean Day, June 8, 2026. Open to all Norwegian citizens and permanent residents. Sponsored by CEWE and UiB Ocean.
