In this event, we will provide an introduction to the ten-year Polhavet 2050 program, which brings together scientific expertise to understand developments in the Arctic and help shape the future of the Arctic Ocean.

The Arctic is changing rapidly.

Four researchers will provide a brief overview of the ten-year Polhavet 2050 program, with a particular focus on how new technology can improve our understanding of developments in the Arctic Ocean and what these changes might mean for society.

Each presentation is brief, and the event concludes with an open Q&A session with the audience.

The event is free, open to everyone, and will be held in Norwegian.

Do you have any questions about the Arctic, or thoughts on what you think research should prioritize? Feel free to submit them in advance (registration form)—and we’ll try to address them during the discussion.
