What effects does plastic have on the human body, the ocean, and all the creatures that live in it? Can we shift the focus from cleanup to prevention and effective systems that actually work? And what measures must we implement to prevent the spread of marine litter and its breakdown into microplastics?
NORCE, the Directorate of Fisheries, the Framtidshavet Foundation, the Retailers’ Environmental Fund, and Bergen Chamber of Commerce & Industry warmly Bergen Chamber of Commerce & Industry you to this year’s plastics conference!
This year’s Plastic Conference brings together government officials, researchers, the aquaculture industry, environmental organizations, and volunteers working on the front lines of marine cleanup efforts. They will highlight the challenges and discuss solutions. Through knowledge, political perspectives, and practical experience, we will demonstrate how plastic pollution can be prevented and how we can develop more effective and sustainable solutions.
