Welcome aboard the Epos!
The literary boat Epos will be open to the public during One Ocean Week. On board the Epos, you’ll find a bookstore, a kiosk, and a bar.
The M/S Epos was built at Omastrand in Hardanger in 1963 and has since been used as a book boat and tourist boat in Western Norway. When it was built, it was one of the world’s largest aluminum boats. Today, the boat is owned and operated by the Litteraturbåten Epos Foundation and serves as a cultural venue and traveling literary center.
