Ocean Young is an annual event that brings together students and the business community in the fields of energy and marine technology.
The event is a combination of company presentations, conversations at the booths, and dinner.
Companies engage with talented students who have relevant skills and have the opportunity to recruit candidates for summer jobs, internships, trainee programs, and permanent positions.
Students get to meet exciting companies where they can write their student thesis and explore future career opportunities.
At the same time, the event helps foster greater collaboration between academia and the business community and promotes innovation and skills development in the marine and energy sectors.
The goal is to ensure future access to skilled labor, strengthen the collaboration between education and industry, and contribute to sustainable growth in the marine-based industries.
