Get to know the diversity of animal species from the shoreline in our exhibitions, and study some of them up close under a microscope in our laboratory.

In this educational program, we explore the life found on the shore. There's lots of life here; hundreds of species of both animals and algae! In the program, students get to explore and get to know the diversity of animal species in our exhibitions, and study some of them up close under a microscope in our laboratory. The teaching is summarized by playing a brand new board game: "Feather Theory". Through exploratory, participatory and playful ways of working, pupils gain knowledge about different species. We look at crustaceans, echinoderms, algae and molluscs, among other things, and learn about the species' adaptation in their environments.
