How are oceans, sustainability, and human rights connected? Join us for a student-led lunch event exploring the blue economy, where business, law, and sustainability intersect.

As the global ocean economy continues to expand, ensuring accountability in complex maritime environments has never been more important. This event brings together four leading experts to shed light on key challenges in the fields of business, law, sustainability, and human rights within the growing blue economy.

Through diverse perspectives, we aim to explore how we can ensure that the future of our oceans is not only sustainable, but also just and equitable.

Why attend?
This event is designed to engage students from a wide range of disciplines—from economics and law to the natural sciences—and highlight how closely these fields are interconnected when it comes to ocean governance. Whether you’re new to the topic or already interested, this is a unique opportunity to learn about the ethical and ecological challenges shaping our oceans.
