Maritime Bergen, Seacap, Schjødt, the Port of Bergen, and Norwegian Ports invite you to a breakfast seminar on how Norwegian ports can accelerate and finance the green transition to reduce emissions.

Public ports in Norway play an increasingly important role in emergency preparedness and
security of supply, as well as in promoting the green transition. At the same time, the ports’
primary task is to serve as a hub to ensure a robust infrastructure for maritime transport and a functional link to onward transport on land. Nevertheless, ports are not part of national transport policy, nor are they mentioned when our national politicians discuss the National Transport Plan.

At the breakfast meeting, we aim to highlight the framework for the various roles of ports and examine the challenges and opportunities involved in meeting the capital requirements for the investments needed to address future expectations.
