The annual seminar is organized in collaboration between Offshore Norway and the Norwegian Fishermen's Association to highlight how fishing and seismic surveys can coexist in a positive and sustainable manner.
The seminar provides an update on seismic activity, regulations, and reporting systems, and highlights experiences from completed surveys.
At the same time, we look ahead to technological developments, new survey methods, and research results on underwater sound and overall impact on the ocean.
Through professional presentations, discussions, and meeting places, the seminar facilitates open dialogue, exchange of experiences, and increased understanding across stakeholders. The goal is to strengthen the knowledge base and contribute to the further development of good solutions for coexistence in Norwegian sea areas.
We look forward to two eventful days with enthusiastic participants, lively discussions, and valuable input.
