"Is it legal?" is a play for elementary school students about Magnus Lagabøte and Landslova on the Literature Boat in Vågen, during One Ocean Week!

It is illegal to bite! Most people would agree with that, but did you know that this is one of the laws in Norway's national law, which was written 750 years ago?

"Is it allowed?" is a play and a brand new production for young children, which challenges children's sense of justice and delves into a fresh and lush medieval world. You will meet vengeful kings, murderous criminals, stubborn magistrates, warlike knights, beggar monks, and the man who tried to bring a little more order to it all: Magnus Lagabøte.

Get ready to be amazed, entertained, perhaps a little irritated, and definitely engaged on the Literature Boat Epos.

The performance is a commissioned work written especially for the Literature Boat Epos by Adele Lærum Duus, who also directs. The performance is a one-woman show, performed by Lina Taule Fjørtoft or Adele Lerum Duus.

Two school events are scheduled each day, from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. and from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m.
