When will we achieve the goal of preserving 30% of marine areas through marine protected areas by 2030? And how can we ensure good, democratic processes and support in the municipalities for marine protection?

Marine conservation is more popular than ever, both because we have committed to preserving 30% of our marine areas by 2030, and because conflicts and discussions arise around such conservation processes. We invite dialogue, where researchers on the topic, government administrators, and municipalities can express their perspectives. In addition, Eide Fjordbruk will participate to discuss the potential for aquaculture with its innovative solutions that have a lower environmental impact.

Let's learn more about what protection means and how we can achieve better democratic processes and support to ensure a healthy ocean teeming with life for the future!
