AI First is Capgemini's vision for artificial intelligence, industry, and sustainability. Together with partners such as Microsoft and Cognite, we will highlight the industrial use of artificial intelligence.

In a two-hour interactive session on April 22, we will demonstrate how artificial intelligence, particularly the new wave of agentic AI, defined as autonomous and task-performing AI agents, can transform industries far beyond familiar personal tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot.

We will seek answers to the following questions:

  • How do we think the world will change with the use of AI over the next two years?
  • What is the power of self-driving agents? Where are the benefits? Where are the pitfalls?
  • What characterizes those who succeed?

We would like to highlight three key messages:

AI will fundamentally change the industry: We are moving from hype to transformation, and the narrative is shifting from consumer-oriented AI such as ChatGPT and Copilot to powerful agentic AI implemented in businesses. These AI agents don't just answer questions—they act as digital colleagues who collaborate with humans to solve real problems and augment human expertise.

AI partnerships and industrial impact: Capgemini's strategic partnerships with technology leaders such as Microsoft and industrial data experts such as Cognite demonstrate how collaborative innovation accelerates AI adoption. By converging IT, OT, and ET data on platforms such as Cognite Data Fusion®, we create insights from previously isolated information—for example, by moving from sensor data to engineering drawings—and drive efficiency and sustainability in marine industries.

Trust and interaction between humans and AI: AI first, humans always! Successful implementation of AI requires trust and cooperation between humans and AI. Capgemini's research shows that although the potential value contribution of agentic AI is enormous (up to $450 billion by 2028), organizations must combine AI ambitions with strong ethical principles, transparency, and human control to realize this potential.

In this session, we will set the stage by introducing Capgemini's AI-First strategy and the concept of AI as an agent of change. We will then present perspectives from Microsoft with insights from the recent Microsoft AI Tour in Norway, followed by Cognite's vision of unlocking industrial data with AI. We will conclude with an interactive panel discussion and Q&A to tie everything together and engage the audience.

The seminar will be held in Norwegian, with supporting material (slides) in English.
