How do oceans, sustainability, and human rights connect?Join us for a student-led lunch event diving into the blue economy, where business, law, and sustainability meet.

As the global ocean economy continues to expand, ensuring accountability in complex maritime environments has never been more important. This event brings together four leading experts to shed light on key challenges within business, law, sustainability, and human rights in the growing blue economy.

Through diverse perspectives, we aim to explore how we can ensure that the future of our oceans is not only sustainable, but also just and equitable.

Why attend?
This event is designed to engage students across disciplines, from economics and law to natural sciences, and highlight how closely interconnected these fields are when it comes to ocean governance. Whether you’re new to the topic or already interested, this is a unique opportunity to learn about the ethical and ecological challenges shaping our oceans.
