Join us for an interactive photo activity, survey, and contest to tell us what kind of ocean you want! Get a photo to take home and win contest prizes of CEWE gift certificates and photobooks!
How do Norwegians – adults, youth, and children – value the ocean? We invite you to visit us and sort photos of the ocean according to your values. You can keep your favourite photo! We also have a short survey that you can fill in with information about yourself and your relationship with the ocean. This can inform ocean policy of what is important to Norwegians. Enter our contest: «What kind of ocean do you want?» Top 3 adult entrants will receive vouchers for CEWE photofinishing products: 1) 1500 kr, 2) 750 kr, and 3) 500 kr, while youth (16 – 19) and children (under 16) will receive Norli gift certificates: 1) 750 kr, 2) 375 kr, and 3) 250 kr. Top 5 – 10 entries will be enlarged, framed, and exhibited. Top 20 entries will be collected in a book and featured entrants will receive a copy. Deadline is May 31st, 2026. Winners will be announced on World Ocean Day, June 8th, 2026. Open to all Norwegian citizens and permanent residents. Sponsored by CEWE and UiB Ocean.
